Description of the team 

Within TECHVITIS, there is a dedicated team providing IT professional services on fintech solutions, mainly Murex (MX.3). The team is responsible for accumulating capital market expertise to help Murex and its clients to translate business requirements into solutions with high quality standards. 


The Environment Management team is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of MX.3 environments across all lifecycle stages, from development to production. This includes ensuring system stability, scalability, and performance, as well as coordinating with stakeholders to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions that align with client needs. 


Responsibilities 

  • Lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of MX.3 environments, including development, test, and production systems. 
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and stability across multiple environments. 
  • Collaborate with development and integration teams to deploy code and manage release processes. 
  • Automate repetitive tasks such as environment provisioning, upgrades, and patch management. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and configuration errors. 
  • Manage MX.3 infrastructure integrations with third-party systems and ensure seamless data exchange. 
  • Define and implement best practices for environment management, including backup, disaster recovery, and version control. 
  • Provide technical expertise to support client operations, including upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning. 
  • Document environment configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides for internal and client use. 
  • Work with clients on-site or off-site as required to meet project deliverables and timelines. 


Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing MX.3 environments in a senior or lead capacity. 
  • Proficiency in MX.3 technical architecture, including environment configuration and optimization. 
  • Strong experience with infrastructure technologies, including: 
    • Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, and batch processing. 
    • Database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL). 
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins), and version control systems (e.g., Git). 
  • Knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments is a plus. 
  • Proven experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in MX.3 environments. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
