Description of the team

Within TECHVITIS, there is a dedicated team providing IT professional services on fintech solutions, mainly Murex (MX.3). The team is responsible for accumulating capital market expertise to help Murex and its clients to translate business requirements into solutions with high quality standards.

The team members will be staffed on projects that would serve the change and run the bank, on-site or off-site. The scope of the activity includes greenfield implementation, scope extension and production support & maintenance.

The Back Office Operations team is responsible for managing and optimizing configurations of post-trade processes within the MX.3 Murex system, ensuring seamless settlement, confirmations, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting for our clients. The team operates in on-site and off-site settings, delivering solutions that streamline post-trade workflows and ensure compliance with evolving market regulations.

Responsibilities

· Gain a deep understanding of the capital markets business and treasury activities in banking, with a strong focus on operations business process using MX.3.

· Lead implementation projects or client support initiatives, ensuring alignment with client goals and business objectives.

· Configure and build solutions in response to defined business requirements, specifically related to Operations business process: STP rights, Trade processing and validation, contract deliverable event and exchange workflows, Settlement module.

· Design and execute rigorous test plans to ensure successful solution delivery.

· Configure and support exchange workflows interfaces

· Provide expert support to clients by addressing their support cases and technical queries.

· Monitor and report progress on solution development and delivery activities.

· Deliver training sessions to internal teams and external clients to enhance knowledge and operational capabilities.

· Work on-site at client locations


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of financial products or instruments – is a plus.

· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with MX.3: operations module (such as MXML workflows and settlement)

· Proven experience in building contract, deliverable, and exchange workflows

· Interfaces with external systems is a plus

· Proficient in development languages and tools, including:

o Java, XML, XSL, JavaScript, and SQL.

· Proven experience working with Financial Data messaging (FIX, TOF, SWIFT, MXML, JMS) is a plus

· Strong command of Unix environments, including shell scripting and batch file creation.

· Proven experience in leading projects across all phases:

o Requirement gathering, solution design, solution build, and delivery.

· Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Flexibility and willingness to travel to client locations when required.
