Description of the team
Within TECHVITIS, there is a dedicated team providing IT professional services on fintech solutions, mainly Murex. The team is responsible for accumulating capital market expertise to help Murex and its clients to translate business requirements into solutions with high-quality standards.
The team members will be staffed on projects that would serve the change and run the bank (System replacement and production activity support). The scope of the activity includes greenfield implementation, scope extension, and production support and maintenance.
The consultants will experience an interesting career evolution starting as junior consultants (builders) and targeting senior consultant roles such as business stream leads or business analysts. They will be supported by senior managers with 15+ years of experience in capital market and fintech solutions.
Responsibilities:
You will join an experienced and dynamic team that is responsible of:
- Understanding of the capital market business and treasury activities at banks (Scope: Trading, Risk management, Back Operations and Finance/Accounting)
- Developing expertise on Murex software (MX.3) with a focus on different modules.
- Understanding the concept of an integrated multi-platform solution where Murex must interact with other systems (upstream and downstream)
- Configuring and building interfaces that transform Murex XML messages into: enriched MxML, or JMS messages
- Configuring and building interfaces that connect Murex to other systems for both import, export and market data retrieval
- Configuring and building solutions in alignment with the design business requirements
- Designing and executing tests that ensure the acceptance of the solutions
- Supporting clients by answering their support cases or questions
- Reporting progress and escalations to the senior consultants and project managers on build and delivery activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Good understanding of the financial products or instruments – is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal (English is mandatory, French is a plus)
- Previous knowledge of Murex MX.3 platform – is a plus
- IT Knowledge e.g. SQL, XML, Unix script
- Proficient in development languages and tools, including:
- Java, XML, XSL, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Eager to learn and develop technical and business expertise.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationship.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team.
